Partnerships
The Trust works closely with a number of local groups, organisations and charities.
SET: Stevenage Educational Trust, is a Charitable Trust with a membership of forty seven institutions which includes all of the forty three schools in Stevenage and the surrounding villages, Children’s Centres, North Hertfordshire College and the Education Support Centre. The Claxton Trust works with all schools within SET to address local priorities and improve outcomes for the children of Stevenage.
Herts for Learning (HfL) is not for profit company, who provides a range of school improvement servicesIts main business comes through trading a wide range of school improvement and business support services to schools, academies and educational settings. The company also has a contract with Hertfordshire County Council (HCC) to deliver some of its statutory education functions.
With 521 shareholder schools, including both Fairlands and Camps Hill Primary School, Herts for Learning Ltd is the UK’s largest Schools’ Company.
Round Diamond Teaching School was established in July 2018. Teaching Schools are locally based centres which aim to develop school to school support; attract and train the best new teachers and develop the next generation of leaders.
Both Camps Hill and Fairlands are strategic partners in the alliance, along with Highover School and Trotts Hill Primary School & Nursery.
